You can find those interviews here and here.This week’s track isn’t from a movie, but it would have been at home on the soundtrack to one. Earlier in 1983, Gary Myrick’s earlier track “She Talks In Stereo” and the (at the time) more recent “Time To Win” were featured in the Martha Coolidge film Valley Girl.
Twenty years ago, Valley Girl was one of the first movies I bought on DVD and I would watch it endlessly. While the movie is an 80’s classic, in all honesty, the best thing about it is the soundtrack. “She Talks In Stereo” is absolute perfection.
