“Call Me” was originally offered to Stevie Nicks and while I’m glad Blondie recorded it, I sometimes like to imagine the parallel universe where Nicks recorded it.
It's wild how far ahead of the game Moroder was during this period. Not these songs, but I Feel Love and Chase, which for years was the intro music for the nightly movie on a local satellite channel.

This is interesting!
Yeah apparently it was a contract issue of some sorts. Debbie Harry wrote the lyrics so it could have been a completely different song!
It would have been a different song! I would love to see a Stevie Nicks version!
Definitely did not expect to see Janis Ian here!
Definitely one of those collabs that sounds odd on paper but the final product is amazing. One of my favourites by her!

I was really close to going with those two because they are seminal tracks but it was so hard to just pick ten.
I had a really long day, and this was super fun to come home to! Thanks for sharing (I'd only heard Bowie and Blondie before).
You're welcome! There's some gold in there.
Hope things are going better!
Bowie on Cat People kills it!
He totally does!
