My fave performance of this great song was by the Finn brothers live on KCRW in 1988. There is a YouTube video with terrible sound. I have it on a rare CD-single in excellent sound. I'll try to upload it soon to YouTube.
I've never heard Leaky Boat before! It sounds very different than "I Got You" which might explain why it didn't chart very high here. It also has a long intro which could have been a turn off for radio.
Great read ME. I'm not a fan of all their releases but some of the songs feature in my all time favorites list. "I Got You" and "I Hope I Never" are milestones, as far as I'm concerned. "Six months in a leaky boat" is also a great song. Didn't know the story of UK radio & Falklands.
